Traverse City Trails

There are a variety of routes on this Michigan favorite, most resulting in about 40 miles, if you make it all the way to the lighthouse and back. Most park at Traverse City Central High School, and then ride out the east side of the peninsula, returning along the west side, as this keeps you along the water’s edge the entire way. There are some substantial hills, but you will be well rewarded by some of the most spectacular views in the area. Cherry blossom season is a bonus if you can plan for it.
